Looking for a FREE Business Plans Template?
I have two here for you… a business plans template for START-UPS, and a business plans template for established businesses. You can download both at the bottom of this post.
Before we go any further, you should know that few people look forward to actually writing a business plan. They take time and are a pain in the ass to complete. Having said that, if you start or buy a business without one, you’re just plain stupid!

If you are looking for a shortcut, I recently found a website that already has business plans written for you! They claim to be the largest business plan database in the world with over 2500 business plans. You can check them out here.
The importance of planning cannot be overemphasized. As the old saying goes… no one plans to fail, they just fail to plan!
Taking an objective look at the business plan will identify areas of weakness and strength, pinpoint needs that might otherwise be overlooked, and spot opportunities early. One can then begin planning on how best to achieve a business goal.
The mental thought process that goes into actually writing a business plan forces the writer to cover ALL the areas that go into running a business, not just the fun ones… like how much money you are going to make!
Frankly, a business plan will force you to take an objective and unemotional look at a business BEFORE opening the doors and/or writing that big check to buy an existing business. A business plan often uncovers areas of weakness or overlooked items that need attention. It also helps to spotlight profit potential.
Most importantly, the free business plans template we provide here will help avoid starting or buying a business that is doomed to failure. Who wants that? Think about it… it is far cheaper not to begin (or buy) an ill-fated business than to learn by experience what a business plan would have taught at the cost of several concentrated work hours.
And if you write your business plan properly, it will serve as your blueprint moving forward providing benchmarks and milestones for you to use as measures of your success.
The other reason a business plan is so important is many times it is needed to convince a bank or investor that your dreams of starting a new business or buying an existing business is not some hastily put together pie-in-the-sky venture, but a real business that deserves a second look. Maybe even an investment!
A word of caution:
A very old and wise mentor of mine once said…
“I never saw a business plan that did not work”.
What he meant was that as a business plan is being written and the financial projections are put in place, if the “numbers” don’t work (showing enough profit) most entrepreneurs just change them so they do work! They increase the sales numbers or find some expense to cut. The point here is your goal as the developer and writer of a business plan is to make sure your edits and changes are for the right reasons.
The two business plan templates below (provided by SCORE) are both in Microsoft Word format so you can easily make edits. I would recommend once you finish and the business plan is ready for “public consumption” you save them as PDF’s.

Excellent steps and readers will surely enjoy reading this post. The idea is to explore business opportunities and then work with the ideas. There are plenty of business opportunities to start and earn more money.
Thanks for putting this out there, Rick.
This is great. If I may add to it, I think at the Director level, you actually need to be a fourth and fifth person.

By the way, the number you put up are very accurate. Pay only about 1X annual earnings and never more than 2X. The only time you should be willing to go higher is if you see a potential growth in the business or the business generates a huge revenue but small profit with a potential to increase this profit margin. Anyway, just my experience in looking at buying a business, but you guys pretty much have everything covered.

Excellent list that you’ve put together for us.
This book is packed with everything you could ever want to know about
breaking into the interior design business. And Leone let’s you know,
it IS a business, with the goal being to make money, not necessarily
to just throw on a coat of paint or knock out a wall on a whim. Leone
contrasts these realities with what we see on channels like HGTV, in
which she calls “the fun stuff”, the end product.
In this book you’ll discover your creative and mathematical
strengths (if they do indeed exist), learn about building a business
plan, and learn key tips for marketing your business should you make
it that far; Leone actually devotes a good deal of the book to this
alone, as the lack marketing is one of the biggest reasons new
businesses fail. Also includes some design forms for practice. (4

It's crazy how much some of these girls work just to spend their money on clothes lol
RT Getting #Three20 libraries to work is such a pain in the ass.
The one thing to resonate with me the most is “No one, in my view, solved the financial problems of consumers.”Marc is right. Financial literacy is a huge problem for a country that’s supposed to be the richest in the world. How do we teach people the importance of personal finance management or change their spending habits? We teach all sorts of things in school except this.
Sounds like she has Munchausen Syndrome.

Well, I have a solution to your quandry, do all of these things in private, I always do, no questions asked, it is their business after all!
Having studied entrepreneurship as a master-degree, I learned that business-plans are important for the entrepreneur to verbalise what he is doing. If he can’t do that in a plan, can he do it to outsiders, specifically his customers? However, running a startup for a year now, I find the act of writing a business-plan always comes second after doing what needs to be done to keep the business alive. Still, writing offers some reprieve from the day-to-day stress and I’m much better versed than my co-workers on the grander vision and how to get there. Will a business-plan get you funded? It did in our case, from a governmental institution, but all the real investors I met preferred two things: a working product ready to launch and a clear financial overview of the potential return on their investment.
oldjoe5, No the nazi’s did not openly brag about the final solution. In Himmler’s speech to his SS generals given on oct 4,1943 Himmler stated that they could discuss the plan to exterminate jews amongst themselves, but that they were to never speak of it in public.
Absolutely.I think the key point of the article was this phrase: No one is even afraid of Microsoft anymore. They still make a lot of money—so does IBM, for that matter. But they’re not dangerous.
yup actually i c america fallin down at this moment…soon after america lose power fuckin isreal is gonna be nothin!!!

I saw a presentation done by Michael Arrington at a start-up conference and he said he wished he could cover more of the start-ups that aren't getting covered.
Congrats to Streamzy for getting this coverage, but c'mon, how did this get through the editorial process. Not only is this not innovative, it is nothing new. There are lots of great start-ups doing cool stuff, this aint one of them.
Mell I have been a bad student, our economy is in shambles so it's very difficult to get people buying into my business
The Gov is giving tax cuts to companies outside of WI creating his budget crisis. There IS NO BUDGET CRISIS!!! He’s backed by union busters and THAT is his job – to bust workers unions. Please write or call your state and fed reps – ask that they stand with the people of WI.

Honestly dude, you sound like a webdev. Wrong mindset for repairs. Just as bad as programmers IMO. Pull yourself away from that shit if you’re going to repair computers, it’s great if your target audience is the internet but it’s a ridiculous pain in the ass if people are walking in the front door. We use a program call system 5. It handles everything you could ever require.
It’s very Romneyesque to focus on money. It’s just like Romney’s 2008 campaign. The Republicans want a hawk – by gum Romney will “double Guantanamo.” The Republicans want religious values? Sure! Let’s move “In God We Trust” to the front of the currency. Yeah!

>>With any luck they’ll start at Westborough Baptist.>> Aaahhh yess… the Westborough Baptists… Now they’re an interesting group. The founder is a lawyer. He got disbarred, I think – but I don’t know what for. His eldest daughter is also a lawyer. But doesn’t actually practice, in the sense of having an office and representing other people. What she does is represent the “church”. The “church” pays her, and pays the rest of them – in other words, it appears to me that their church is their business. Tax free business – because it’s also a “religion”. Their demonstrations are geared towards deliberately agitating people, with an eye for causing some sue-able offense. Their lawsuits appear to be their sole means of support. In my opinion, in other words, it’s a scam. I have no idea if they actually have deep-seated religious beliefs – they may. But so do others. For them it’s a means of physically working very little and reaping the benefits. In fact – it’s a little like I feel about Obama and the law – they studied it with the sole purpose of turning the laws to enrich themselves. Or in Obama’s case, “know your enemy”. Most people study the laws to achieve justice. Some people study the law to find ways around it.

Can anyone who claims to be even remotely objective look at the results of the Citizens United decision, which vastly overstepped the original issue, and think it has not had a major effect on the elections in this country? Even someone who wants the country to be ruled by conservatives has got to admit that that decision tipped the balance and, especially if unions are eliminated, which seems to be inevitable, will result in one party rule. Can anyone who believes in the principles that founded this country really think that one party rule is a good thing?
I would say the main importance in savings is keeping a budget, cash flow chart. If you want to save money, you must first establish where your money is being spent. Once you locate where your money is going you can take control of it. You can then divert wasteful spending into savings.
Having a savings plan can make the difference between being poor or rich. A penny saved is a penny earned!!
Good Luck with future saving!!
As a small business lender in a largely rural area, I can attest to the benefit to having a strong SBDC program. There are not a lot of resorces available to small businesses, especially start-ups, and the SBDC is definitely one of them. I strongly support continued funding for this program and urge everyone else to do so as well.

Anyone see Greenie on CNBC this morning? Lost track of his thought process several times. He didn’t look good at all and was talking (even worse) nonsense….
I just always thought buying the business meant lock, stock, barrel, building and tablecloths. So I'm assuming the building is hers too…
Didn't Jack give Paul his most recent winnings, to get the whole Molly/Tyrone mortgage thing worked off? And werent' those winnings the cash Dan originally wasn't going to pay out, then gave to Paul, then demanded the money back — oh what a tangled web we weave!
I'm still sure Amber is going to be put in danger — run Amber run! — especially since we see her conspiciously in the background folding napkins while Paul and Leanne earnestly discuss flaming food places.
Hey Greg, get a job!!!!!
R.I.P. Halo
Just like you don’t like being called a smart-alec dipshit, I don’t enjoy being talked down upon, or like I was an idiot. Furthermore, I was more annoyed by the general thought process that the US government was “bad” because it kept secrets and PVT Manning was a martyr for exposing the big bad government, and although I did read every comment ( when the thread was made ), yours just stuck out the most, so I replied to it.
Love the graphics and all but I always hated how Dice makes the weapon sway so quickly when you walk. It looks so goofy and bothers me seeing it. Also, I hope you don’t pull the charging handle each time you reload in the final game. Slap the bolt release on the left hand side, it’s a quicker reload and also not goofy looking.
>Foxconn by capitalism standards is a better company. They make things of good quality at the lowest price (a legit low margin business). That’s fucking retarded. Business goal is to make profit, not to make things as cheap as possible. I specifically mentioned Foxconn vs Apple because it seemed people where under the impression businesses just want to minimize cost. [Apple made $6 billion in profit (26 billion revenue) in the last 3 [That’s nearly triple the amount of Foxconn made in the entirety of What definition of capitalism means a country that makes 3 times another companies annual profit in 3 months a worse company? Oh, I guess its that definition that doesn’t make any sense, but supports your position any how.

Recently I bookmarked a good entry level SEO glossary of current SEO terms. A few weeks ago I complained about some people still using obsolete and inaccurate SEO terms such as “keyword density”.
Okay…and?
Steve, I don't think entrepreneurship as uncertainty-bearing (note: not bearing insurable risk) can be classified as capital.
Sudha, you are right, of course, Kirzner's pure entrepreneur is meant as an ideal type. He doesn't claim that real, flesh-and-blood entrepreneurs cannot own property. My point is that the analytical separation of alertness and ownership makes sense only in a model without uncertainty. (See Mises’s discussion of “the imaginary construction of functional distribution,” discussed in Joe’s paper cited above.) Given Knightian uncertainty, entrepreneurship and ownership cannot be separated, even analytically. In such a world, what does it mean to “spot opportunities”? There are no opportunities, only entrepreneurial judgments about actions that might or might not generate receipts in excess of their outlays (with appropriate discounting).
Mises’s example of workers exercising entrepreneurship illustrates this perfectly. In a world of uncertainty all human action involves a measure of entrepreneurship, since we employ known means in pursuit of ends that may or may not be achieved. If I buy a new suit before a job interview I am acting entrepreneurially, making an investment I hope will pay off in higher wages. Workers, consumers, landlords, all exercise a measure of entrepreneurship. But the entrepreneurial function (judgmental decisions about deploying resources under uncertainty) can be separated, analytically, from the wage-earning or rent-earning or interest-earning functions.
To make a long story short, I don’t see how invoking “alertness” or “discovery” helps us here. What phenomena does it explain that judgment cannot explain?
Bruce, thanks for the kind words. You could have stopped there!
As for the rest, I’m not criticizing Kirzner’s subjectivism at all. Actually, one could argue that Kirzner’s concept isn’t subjectivist enough, because it treats profit opportunities as objective (albeit not universally perceived) phenomena. In the Knightian view profit opportunities don’t “exist” in any meaningful sense. Rather entrepreneurs take actions based on their perceptions of possible outcomes. What could be more subjectivist than that?
As for your point #2 about discrete intervals, I don’t get what you mean.
Paolo, as Nicolai and I have written in several papers, the “rights to use resources” cannot be separated from the ownership of resources if contracts are incomplete. Ownership implies residual rights of control, in Hart’s terminology — the right to make decisions about the employment of resources in situations not covered by contract. In Nicolai and Kirsten’s “assets and attributes” terminology, ownership gives the owner the rights to attributes of assets that are not known ex ante.
Did you shout Jew as part of your post-death random shouting? lol
I have read this article and comments with great interest. I have been involved with both agencies in the past five years, managing a “small” business (Gross < 1M ) that has experienced both economical and business strategy changes.

I see an economic opportunity here Dave. Illinois could become a “sanctuary” state for legislators from all over the country – heck the world! Time to start writing a business plan.
please don’t ignore woodley’s guaranteed signing bonus of $2.8 million before he even put on a steeler helmet. ask the jet’s what happens when a high pick turns bust and how much money it costs, i.e. vernon gholston.
Well, that’s where I disagree. I agree with this: > But you have to concede that some teams (or perhaps you might say it is managers, rather than teams) play dirty football no matter how talented their squad. No matter how much money they have at their disposal. Which is why I said that the table could be more meaningful for teams with better squads and more resources, since they have a choice that others don’t have. But about this: > Some others on the other hand, try to deliberately not play dirty in spite of limited resources. It’s not a matter to “trying not to play dirty”, that’s what I’m saying. If the other team is better and you don’t have the ball, you can either look how they play, or actually try to tackle them to win the ball back. Some teams will be dirtier than others in their attempts to win the ball back, but regardless of that, and not matter how un-dirty you try to play, if you spend most of the 90 minutes chasing shadows and tackling the opponent you’re gonna dramatically increase your chances of commiting fouls and receiving cards. And if you don’t attempt to win the ball back then you’re not being competitive, which makes no sense (it’s very nice to claim that you’re a very clean and pro-fair play team if you lose one match after another without disputing the ball, but you’re there to compete, not to look nice). So, in my opinion, for most teams in the table it’s not really a matter of choice but of need, and the number of tackles and cards, despite being influenced by a team’s collective mentality, comes mostly determined by the way the stronger rival chooses to play against them. You’ve got a good example with Arsenal against Barça today: Arsenal commited 19 fouls against Barça and only received 8 by them. They also received 4 yellow cards (1 red), while Barça received none. Does that make Arsenal a “dirty” team? No. They had to play like that today, because Barça had nearly 70% of possession, and the only way for Arsenal to avoid conceeding more goals was to tackle them and risk to commit fouls and receiving cards. You can make a choice of how you want your team to play, but in the end, there are two teams on the pitch, and if your rival decides that you can’t play like that and they’re superior, then it doesn’t matter. If you don’t have the ball and want to stay competitive, you’ve gotta tackle them and commit fouls and receive cards. All I’m saying is: there ARE dirty teams and dirty players, which I hate. But a statistic like this is very misleading. There are yellow cards given because you took your shirt off, because you threw the ball out of play to waste time or because you had to slightly pull ‘whirlwind’ Messi’s shirt to avoid him scoring an open goal. Then there are yellow cards for intentionally putting your elbow in your rival’s face, tackling somebody from behind trying to intentionally hit his injured ankle or intentionally kicking his leg instead of the ball. In my opinion cards alone are just not a good way to measure dirtiness in football, given the vast amount of variables that are involved and how different a match unfolds depending on both teams’ strategies.
…because they are not christians.
I believe it is perfectly fine. She is simply amazing
Yep. Facebook will die in time. Probably sooner rather than later.
off to bed.long day of running a business i own AND supporting unions tomorrow
Ron – Interesting that the #1 marketing objective was acquiring new customers – not, as you listed it, acquiring PROFITABLE new customers. It's this thought process that continues to permeate within financial institutions – volume for the sake of volume. I'm concerned that it's these type of results and answers that contribute to marketers not being taken seriously within the executive ranks.
If Governor Palin wouldn’t be running she wouldn’t have gone out of her way to have an event on that night to avoid the debate. If she isnt a candidate, she wouldn’t attend the debate anyway and would have just stayed at home to watch it so she could make an educated decision on which other candidate to support. The fact that Tim Crawford gave his statement suggests that the Governor wanted the message out loud and clear.
To the contrary, Glenn Beck is a fucking joke. I happen to come to my own conclusions independently after taking an objective look at situations. Do you have anything intelligent to add?
Talking to someone who’s trained to help you discover new opportunities will assist you in taking a far more objective bird’s eye view of your scenario. A trained careers advisor or coach will assist you and spot opportunities you mightn’t have thought of on your own.
Phew! (Wiping the sweat off my brow) Lot of reading for a yahoo question but I got through it: okay a great book would be Stephen King-"On writing"
I stopped on "The owner of the was bar also known as my brother, Ryan" edit it to "The owner of the bar was also known as my brother, Ryan" Just a minor error on your part no biggie, but it didn't capture me at first so my problem was the info you were giving me, and you tried to give description all at once. It was a bit tiring so if you could just cut to the chase with her snapping back at the bartender–or how ever she would respond and go from there….
Out of topic:-
The video of Ronald Schiller sent chills down my spine. “Liberals” (whatever that word really means) like to portray themselves as caring, rational, intellectual, etc. That tape pulled the mask off the true face of modern liberalism for anyone who cares to take an objective look. Sanctimony, hypocrisy, elitism, and moral relativism, all rolled into one, nice and neat package. Particularly disturbing was Ronald Schiller’s complict buy in to the “Jews control the media” canard.

Why would you order anything from Vistaprint? Their commercials are super annoying and misleading. To tell me I’ve “won” 250 free business cards just by listening to their dumb commercial on Pandora, screams of shady promotional practices.
People need to get off Nike’s jock. Take an objective look at these. They are not that great

Thomas, I found college valuable for some of the same reasons as you. I met my wife of 12 years there so I certainly have no regrets. However, I believe that one can be exposed to new ideas and methodologies while developing socially without spending four years and 50K or more.
This is why I voted for Bernero. Running the government is not like running a business. These corporate Republicans get into power and they think its just like running a company where they’re the boss and everybody has to do what they say.

A major advantage of Pikwik is its robust protection of the data, if you were to go hosted then the data would then become the property of the hoster or be sitting there waiting for some genius to spot opportunities to exploit the data.
I love your work! Everyday I hear our ancestors blood and tears call to me from the ground on which those tears and blood fell. They say “make us proud our child, our son” avenge our wrongs that were done to us”. “Know our enemy”. “Never forget us, for we protect you”. “Hear us in the wind! Feel us in the blood we pump in your veins, make us proud, we wait for you”!
Real Deal.
Timmy,
I agree with your assessment and the disappointment expressed in a couple of these reviews, specifically Ascol. Michael Spencer's review is confusing, as if he did not see the movie for what it really is. Take an honest, objective look at this film–it fails on many levels, not the least of which is the almost total absence of the gospel. I saw it last night–you can read my review at my blog here.
So disappointing.

>Term Limits What if they have the effect of making a bunch of lame ducks and give corporations even more power (via conglomerate that own the news and just sheer money to buy media advertising bypassing campaigns directly) to determine who these positions belong to? It can be argued that 22nd amendment has automatically made the majority of the President’s 2nd term a lame duck. Also, you sorta deincentivize some Reps to listen to their people in the 2nd term if they realistically can’t upgrade to a new position because the result for them will be the same. >Only Persons can Contribute Okay, how do you combat TV channels then who cover who they want and with the slant they want? Groups like AARP, NRA, etc. are just made up of people. I’ll agree with barring corps and unions because stockholders/members didn’t form that to make politics and the stockholders/workers can organize a PAC seperately so their investment/dues goes to cause they like. But I think it’s even more important to limit contributions of Representatives/Senators to within their state, from the people they represent. (Ideally, I’d get rid of the 17th amendment altogether). >Nobody elected to office can have benefits better than the people who’s salary they get to decide Okay, but realize that Congress made President Washington take a $25,000 salary (a good amount money at the time) which he didn’t want for his image, but decided to take anyway as he realized he would set a lot of precedents. The thinking was to prevent a pauper President, but moreso, to try and insulate them from the temptation of corruption. Same goes for Senators and Representatives. >Make the tax code 10 pages max. Write it at the 8th grade level. Get rid of EVERY exception, then lower it to a flat 15%. I’m not a fan of the flat tax, the criticisms are on wikipedia. What are exceptions? There are legitimate deductions, especially if I’m running a business — my gross is nowhere near my profit. I prefer the Apt-Tax, way superior in my opinion.

I'm with Kalvin…any Caroling coming out of a “Hymnbook”….puts me OUT of the holiday mood and brings back the misery, suffering, sinful, pious, money grabbing clergy who are running a business based in fear, and NOT on what those lovely myths found in the Bible originally meant. Most were character building and giving love.
Favorites: Let It Snow Let It Snow. Winter Wonderland, AND…we ALWAYS have the crowd sing: “Here Comes Santa Claus” with the speed increasing with each round…always ends in a houseful of laughter.
Least: What Child Is This, Verse specific: “Nails, spear shall pierce him through.” Is that joy?

My God, I know how you feel. I have figured out that I am a teacher. I do not mean to say that I am employed as one. I am not. I mean that I have a natural inclination to teach. I discovered that I was constantly nudging people to learn something. It is odd that this realization took so long as I started studying education while working at various libertarian think tanks. So, why the hell did I mention that? Two reasons: First, to have some background when I tell you that I am doing something to mitigate the problem in your post. I am writing a business plan to make it easier for parents to educate their children in a way that both they and their children want cheaply, and far more efficiently. Most parents use the public schools because they have already paid for it and they need a place to send their kids while they are at work. I plan to provide a far safer and healthier place to send kids for about the price of a gym membership. The public schools response to radically different competition will, of course, be to spend more. While mine will be to offer more value and have my customers spend less. My objective: Make my business so attractive that it drives the spending per student levels so high that no one could possibly justify it. I want to bankrupt the sons of bitches. And secondly, when starting a business-especially one so controversial-it might help to start telling people about it early.
Fine. Everyone is the best girl i know or met probobly. But she is a pain in the ass and stresses me the hell out #better
Aye whats the songs that frenzy gassed to?
Since studying primary education and understanding the different theories and strategies associated with how to be a good teacher in today’s society I believe that group work will work best within the classroom. If the group work is initially planned and there is structure to it, it will benefit the whole classroom no matter what learning level each individual is at. Studying the two social theorists concreted my love for group work. Both Vygotsky and Piaget were believers that social interaction was a way for a child to move forward and progress in life. The interaction between both peers and someone of a higher level was there main beliefs. (Eggen & Kauchak, 2010).The role for a teacher I believe in group work is to be organised and planned with everything they want the lesson to entail. Without planning group work may not be productive and may cause division and loss of authority for the teacher. There is a website that reiterated to me the importance of planning for teachers. My view on having computers within the classroom is a positive thing as I know that when I was at school we would frequently go to the library and use the computers there in groups of 2 or 3 we would have to research a particular topic. Utilising these computers allowed for the teacher to monitor the students and what they were doing. The best part about using the school computers rather than now a day’s students using their own lap tops is that there is no surfing the internet on school computers. This is an article that I found relating using computers within the classroom and the benefits and risks of it.

Hey AngryGamer… You’d be surprised how well a market-dominating monopoly can hold on to power, long past the inception of competitors who do just what they do, only better and cheaper. Look at the telecoms industry in Australia, for example. Especially in the realm of broadband internet.
are there any Non biased videos out there that show what he wants to do?
Okay, after a more objective look at Piper's thoughts… it's less anger-inducing and more confusing. He says: “Add to this that the Bible does not encourage us to think of nations as blessed when women hold the reins of national authority. Nor in the Bible were women part of those conscripted to fight the battles for Israel.”I mean, what about Deborah???Anyway, not sure what your disagreement with Piper was specifically. That's just something I noticed after another read.
Keep up the good fight. Lacrosse in Brampton was crippled when they tore down our bowl outside of memorial arena. It took 15 years to replace it in an out of the way location that’s a pain in the ass to get to.
I love Posterous, but man I hate it’s comment system. I really wish I could reply to individual comments. Let’s try yes

How much money is being allocated to sports for the 2009-2010 school year? Does this allocation also cover the operational cost of the facilities and the salaries of the staff that have to maintain the fields/courts? What is the percentage of students for K-12 that participate in a school sponsored sport? Are there any revenues generated from sports within the district?

I’m with you on this one. I know perfectly well how to change my own oil, but it’s a pain in the ass. I’m willing to spend a few bucks to get it done for me, and save money in other places.
The main thing I am thinking after reading this artilce is that it is very important to let the pupils discover concepts and create their own links between different areas of maths. I feel that the term facilitator has never been so appropriate as the role we need to play in our student’s education. We do not need to merely teach them rules that they can follow and administer with little understanding but allow them to discover them for themselves. I like the part that states ‘that a different starting point would have been to use an easy example that pupils could do in their heads… and then probe how they worked it out’ rather than giving them the step by step method to follow. If they can work out the method once then even if they forget it surely they can just work it out again?Earlier on in the article it mentions the importance of planning a lesson fully. They praise a teacher for their ‘very well organised lesson’ which gave the students the structure they required to make as much progress as possible as well as the ‘well chosen’ resources that assissed this learning.I belive that it is important to remember that according to this report ‘in the outstanding lessons, the teachers had high expectations of pupils’ enjoyment and achievement’. If the pupils are enjoying their task then surely they are more involved and will take more in which in turn will deepen their understanding?
some times its a pain in the ass to read what blog owners wrote but this website is really user friendly ! .. haha the one who is posting the comments awesome pleasing outstanding.
> I’m not against using gold as money, I’m against a government law that says gold is money (“gold standard”). There’s a difference. Well then don’t make yourself sound obtuse on purpose. If you are against a monopolistic gold money, as well as monopolistic fiat money, then just say you are against a monopolistic money, why go on an offensive on gold standard. > A gold standard is actually worse than what we have now. Assuming you only wanna compare a 100% backed gold US dollar(and US govt maintains its monopoly on money creation) vs what we have right now, then a 100% gold standard would be WAY better than status quo. Govt will not be able to inflate the money supply and cause distortions in the market. They will not be able to create bubbles. And if your argument against it is still that ‘gold producing countries will keep us hostages like OPEC does’ then let me make one thing clear to you, we consume Oil, but we don’t really consume Gold. As I said before ANY amount of money is sufficient for an economy. There is no possible way a gold producing country can harm us by keeping their gold to themselves. What matters is what are we producing, not how much money we have to buy what are we producing.
eMac’s have them. I had to remove the HDD from one recently, well that’s a pain in the ass… took me like half an hour!

I totally agree with your post. I tried writing a business plan, but everything changes so quickly that it ended up just being a waste. I didn’t necessarily jump into my freelance, but I don’t really have a business plan either. Just some goals that I need to make that are also achievable.

I tend to agree with Laura Ingram on this one.
She thinks it will come back to bite them. Liberals think they can mold the minds of the young by propagandizing them at the earliest possible age. They are going to be surprised at how truly intelligent some of our school kids are.
